At King’s College, your coursework is only part of what we offer to help you succeed both on campus and with your future plans. Whether it’s overcoming adversity, preparing for your dream career, or even learning fun and useful life skills, we’re here for you!

Do you need help with your grades or a difficult class? Are you having trouble getting acclimated to an unfamiliar environment, affording tuition, or balancing real life responsibilities and class? If so, we have an entire department dedicated to helping students and their families overcome tough times and complete their degrees. Whether you are a traditional first-year student, adult learner, or transfer, international, or commuter student, we welcome you to explore the services available through the Academic Success Department here.

Pursuing a degree is only part of your journey. What you do with it afterwards is even more important. Our Career Planning Department is here to help you match your course schedule with your professional goals, develop interview and job searching skills, and connect you with the latest recruitment opportunities in our area. Learn more about these services here.

Success Hour is our shared campus-wide time for students to build resiliency, life skills, and have fun.

Held every Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., this new initiative helps improve the student experience. These sessions feature different faculty and staff presenting on a wide variety of topics, such as money management, reducing test anxiety, or meal prepping.

We plan Success Hour sessions every semester. Review the Spring 2024 schedule here.

Keep in mind that success also depends on a healthy mind and body, so take advantage of our wellness services if you need them!
