The Office of Residence Life is happy to provide the option of housing during the summer months for King's College students who will be taking summer classes or working/doing an internship in the local area. Additionally, we also provide housing for students outside of King's College, who will be spending time in the Wilkes-Barre area to complete internships or practicums with companies and organizations in the local area. Information on the housing we provide can be found below. If you are interested in signing up for summer housing, please contact the Office of Residence Life using the contact information listed.

Housing for current King's College Students:

All housing will be offered in Luksic Hall.

  • The weekly charge is $116.00 and will be billed in total to the student's account.
  • Meals are not included, but students would have access to the kitchen in the basement of the building. Select Dining Services outlets will be open during the summer; please see Dining Services for more information.
  • Placements are done at the discretion of Residence Life and can be altered for any reason.
  • Students are responsible for following all the rules set forth in the Student Handbook, including rules in place specifically for the summer months.

Limited space may be available in the College Apartments.

  • The weekly charge is $168.00 and will be billed in total to the student's account.
  • Meals are not included, but students would have access to the kitchen in their apartment. Select Dining Services outlets will be open during the summer; please see Dining Services for more information.
  • Students choosing to live in the apartment would have a roommate; the charge remains the same, regardless of the number of roommates housed in the apartment
  • Placements are done at the discretion of Residence Life, and can be altered for any reason. Students will not have a choice as to which building they are placed in.
  • Students are responsible for following all the rules set forth in the Student Handbook, including rules in place specifically for the summer months.​

12-Month Contracts

  • The total charge would be $1134.00 and will be billed in total to the student's account.
  • Meals are not included, but students would be able to cook in the kitchen of their apartment.
  • Students would be required to have a roommate—either their roommate(s) for the 19-20 year, or students in the same building will be consolidated (by gender) into one apartment for the summer.
  • Placements in the apartments will be done at the discretion of Residence Life, and can be denied for any reason.
  • Students should be enrolled in a summer course, internship, or job placement in order to qualify for this housing experience.
  • Students are responsible for following all the rules set forth in the Student Handbook, including rules in place specifically for the summer months.
  • 12-month contracts are not available in O'Hara or Flood for the 2019 summer. Students will start the summer in Luksic or Holy Cross Halls, until such time that their apartment is ready for occupancy.


Housing for non-King's College Students:

All housing will be offered in Luksic Hall.
