Research Guides on a variety of subjects are available online.  Hard copies of Study Guides are available in the Instruction/Reference Department for the use of students and faculty. The documentation styles ACS, APA, CBE, MLA and Turabian are popular. Other study guide titles include "How to Critically Analyze Information Resources," "Preparing Abstracts and Annotations" and "Distinguishing Scholarly From Non-Scholarly Periodicals."


The Instruction/Reference Desk is located to the left of the Jackson Street entrance. Librarians are available to assist patrons in the use of materials and electronic databases. Reference assistance is also available by appointment.
