Apply for admission - you must first be accepted to the college before any aid can be awarded. Upon acceptance, new first-year students will be considered for scholarships.

File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)  after October 1, 2021 and preferabley before February 15, 2022.  Include King's College federal code 003282 on the FAFSA.  You will be asked to provide income information from your 2020 federal tax return. All other information requested on the FAFSA is to be reported as of the day you are completing the application.  Examples include parent's marital status, assest and savings account information.

After October 1, 2021  you can complete the FAFSA online at To complete it on-line, you and your parent must first create a Federal Student Aid User Account (FSAID). The FSAID will serve as your electronic signatures. If you do not use your FSAID as your signature, then you must print, sign and mail the signature page within 14 days of submitting the FAFSA. Without a signed FAFSA, your eligibility cannot be determined.

Keep copies of your FAFSA for your records.

Data from your FAFSA will be sent to all of your college choices listed on the FAFSA. If you are a resident of Pennsylvania, you will automatically be considered for the PA State Grant Program. Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency(PHEAA) may request additional information from you. If requested, please respond promptly. For timely correspondence, we recommend creating an account with PHEAA at Account Access. The PA State Grant program sends out its official notifications of eligibility beginning in mid-May.

Non-Pennsylvania residents should contact their own state's grant program for application requirements and filing deadlines.

During  November, we will begin to review our accepted students' eligibility for financial aid. Letters will be mailed to students' homes. Offer letters will contain any scholarships offered to you by King's as well as your eligibility for federal, state and other college aid. Sign and return theFinancial Aid Offer Acceptance Form to the Financial Aid Office. Please note the deadline for returning the form.

Your FAFSA may be selected for verification by the federal processor. If selected, we are required to verify the accuracy of the data you provided. If selected, you will be required to provide additional information to us such as copies of your 2019 federal tax return transcripts. Please respond promptly to all requests for information as it may impact your eligibility for aid.
