February 11, 2020 - Dr. Joseph Evan, provost and vice president for academic affairs at King’s College, recently announced the students who have qualified for the Fall 2019 dean’s list.

February 6, 2020 – Mark Doty, distinguished poet and essayist, will be visiting King’s College on March 23-24 as part of the English Department’s Visiting Writer Program. He will be conducting a public reading, question-and-answer session, and book signing at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 23, in the Burke Auditorium in the McGowan School of Business.

February 6, 2020 - Poetry in Transit, an award-winning program that showcases poems on Luzerne County buses, is currently accepting submissions for the 2020-2021 season. Submissions are open to any writer, regardless of age or location. The submission deadline is Friday, May 8.

January 30, 2020 - The King’s College Theatre Department will present one of William Shakespeare’s most tragic plays, “King Lear,” at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 20-22 and 2:00 p.m. on Feb. 23 in the George P. Maffei II Theatre. This will be the 70th consecutive year that King’s has performed a Shakespeare production for local audiences.

January 30, 2020 – Tom DelVecchio, Account Manager from Waste Management, recently visited King’s College campus to present a check for $5,000 to Rev. John Ryan, C.S.C., President of King’s College, in support of two innovative education programs. Waste Management donated to King’s as part of the state’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program, which is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
