May 12, 2020 - Included in the four on-line Professional Development Courses offered at King’s College this summer are two courses designed specifically to assist teachers in managing resources and structure in the online digital environment that many are facing during the current COVID19 school closures.

April 23, 2020 – On Thursday, April 16, 2020, King’s College hosted an online event called King’s Cares. The focus of the event was to fill social media with posts of positivity and hope for 24 hours amidst the stress, fear, and anxiety caused by the global pandemic using the hashtag #KingsCares2020. King’s College is proud of its history of forming graduates who champion the inherent dignity of every person, and who mobilize their skills and professional talents to serve the common good. The King’s Cares event showcased the College’s students, alumni, faculty, and staff who are out in the world doing good things, from working in the healthcare industry battling COVID-19 to individuals performing acts of kindness, large and small.

April 22, 2020 - The First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association (FCSLA) donated $12,000 to King’s College’s Chapel of Christ the King at the George and Giovita Maffei Family Commons. The donation was approved at the 42nd Quadrennial National Convention of the FCSLA in Tampa, Fl. In addition, locally, The Magdalen I. Iskra District of the FCSLA, Senior Branch 172, has pledged an additional $11,500 and Senior Branch 615 has donated $1,500 to name the Our Lady of Sorrows Life Size Icon in the Chapel.

March 6, 2020 - In response to more demanding industry standards and building on a successful bachelor’s degree program, King’s College will begin offering a master’s degree in athletic training beginning in July.
