February 24, 2020 - Recently, representatives from First Keystone Community Bank visited King’s College campus to present a check for $1,000 in support of the College’s Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Program. Linda Meshinski, Vice President and Regional Branch Administrator, and Laurie J. Nudo, Assistant Vice President Community Office Manager of First Keystone Community Bank, visited with Rev. John Ryan, C.S.C., Ph.D., President of King’s College during the check presentation. First Keystone Community Bank donated to King’s as part of the state’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program, which is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.

February 20, 2020 - Formalizing a decades-old relationship, officials from King’s College and the Diocese of Scranton recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will guarantee admission and a renewable four-year scholarship up to a potential maximum four-year value of between $56,000 and $88,000 to seniors who attend any of the diocese’s four Catholic high schools and who meet academic eligibility criteria.  The agreement will take effect for students applying for admission starting with the 2020-21 academic year.

February 17, 2020- Dr. Greg Janik, clinical professor of athletic training and athletic trainer at King’s College, is one of nine athletic trainers from across the country selected to receive the Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award from the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).  The award will be presented to Janik at NATA’s 71st annual Clinical Symposia & AT Athletic Expo to be held in Atlanta in June.
