November 10, 2014 – The King’s College Theatre Department will perform the area premiere of Jon Robin Baitz’s searing comedy, “Other Desert Cities,” of a once promising novelist’s return home for the holidays to reveal plans to publish an explosive memoir. Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20-23 and at 2 p.m. on Nov. 22 in the George P. Maffei II Theatre. King’s has offered theatre productions for local audiences since 1950. 

November 7, 2014 – Dr. Bernard Healey, professor of health care administration at King’s College, has authored a new textbook, titled “Introduction to Health Care Services: Foundations and Challenges,” which is scheduled for publication in January by Jossey-Bass Public Health. The book was co-written with Tina Marie Evans, associate professor and department head of applied health studies at the Pennsylvania College of Technology.

November 6, 2014 - Forty One King’s College students are interning with local and regional businesses and non-profit organizations during the fall semester.  The students are gaining practical business experience while earning academic credit.

November 5, 2014 - Student members of the King's College Sports Medicine Society, along with members of the department's faculty, recently took part in the 13th annual “Trick-or-Canning” food drive.

Approximately 30 members of the group collected non-perishable food items from neighborhoods in Kingston and Mountain Top.  The group collected more than 1,200 items that will be donated to the St. Vincent DePaul Kitchen in Wilkes-Barre.

October 30, 2014 - Forty Four King’s College students recently travelled to the nation’s capital to participate in the sixth annual Career Day sponsored by the King’s Washington, D.C., Area Alumni Club (KWAC).

The two-day event began with an opening reception.  Twenty Washington-area King’s graduates, ranging from the class of 1950 through the class of 2012, hosted the students in their homes that evening.
