KING’S COLLEGE SHORT-TERM FACULTY-LED PROGRAMS

Faculty-led programs are an affordable, easy way to access study abroad and to fulfill core and major requirements. For one, all-inclusive flat fee students attend pre-departure workshops, travel for approximately 3 weeks, complete tailored assignments, and receive 3 King’s credits. The language of instruction is English.

SUMMER STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMS

Students can elect to take classes abroad during the summer months for 3-8 weeks with one of our partner organizations. The summer months are a great time to experience another culture, get international work experience, and/or complete necessary coursework.

SEMESTER STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMS

Semester study abroad programs allow students to have a more in-depth and often transformative immersion experience. There are a variety of program models in our offerings – from foreign universities to American colleges with overseas centers. We recommend that you come in for an advising appointment in the Office of Study Abroad so that we can help you find the program that fits for your needs.

INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS

Many students complete a 3 or 6 credit academic internship during their summer or semester study abroad programs. Internships help you to clarify your goals and build your resume and skills. Internships can be done virtually or in-person and are available in many fields including Advertising and PR, Sports Management, Philanthropy, Business, Data Analytics, Game Design, Education, and more.

VIRTUAL EXCHANGE

Our office is committed to helping all students taste the global dimensions of their academic fields of interest. To study “e-broad” look for on-campus courses with a COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) component, which means that you will be connecting with a class abroad as part of your coursework. The Office of Study Abroad can also advise you on opportunities to take virtual classes and remote internships offered by our study abroad partner schools.
