November 19, 2019 - A new King’s College stand-alone degree program in Special Education PK-12 has been approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, one of the first four in the state to earn the approval. The approval allows the College to begin immediately offering the program to current first-year and sophomore education students, meaning they will be among the first in the state to earn the degree following the Jan. 2022 effective date. The program will also be available to students entering in the fall of 2020 and 2021.

November 15, 2019 - Twenty five King’s College students were recently inducted to the Tau Pi Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society for education.

November 14, 2019 - The annual Legal Career Day sponsored by the King’s College Pre-Law Program was held last recently and attracted more than 200 high school students from Holy Cross, Pittston Area, Meyers, Coughlin, GAR, Dallas, Nanticoke, and Wyoming Valley West. The students heard both Attorney Theron Solomon and Attorney Theresa Malski-Pezak speak about their personal experiences working within the legal profession.

November 11, 2019 - James Gorman, Senior Vice President, Business Services Officer for Branch Banking and Trust Company (BB&T) visited King’s College campus to present Rev. John Ryan, C.S.C., Ph.D., President of King’s College with a check for $8,000 in support of the College’s Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Program. BB&T donated to King’s as part of the state’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program, which is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
