January 30, 2020 - The effect that the growing interest in genetic ancestry exploration through the availability of home kits has had on racial and ethnic identity will be the topic of the Annual Science and Humanity Lecture at King’s College. The presentation by Wendy D. Roth, Ph. D., associate professor of sociology at the University of Pennsylvania, will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, in the Burke Auditorium of the McGowan School of Business, located on the corner of N. River and W. Jackson streets in Wilkes-Barre.

January 28, 2020 - Janet Kobylski has been appointed Vice President for Business Affairs, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer at King’s College following a national search.  She joined the King’s community in mid-January.

January 27, 2020 - Nine King’s College Education Studies majors are currently interning with local early learning facilities.

January 24, 2020 – Phil Johnson, M&T Bank Regional President, recently visited King’s College campus to present a check for $7,500 to Rev. John Ryan, C.S.C., President of King’s College, in support of two innovative education programs. M&T Bank donated to King’s as part of the state’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program, which is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
