Jan. 15, 2016 - Historian and philosopher of science Dr. Marvin Bolt will deliver two free public lectures on Thursday, Feb. 18, in the Burke Auditorium at King’s College. The lectures are sponsored by The McGowan Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility at King’s.

Jan. 13, 2016 - King’s College was recently awarded a $50,000 grant through the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) for the purchase of equipment, including a light-scattering detector to enable more advanced research and practice by students and faculty in the chemistry department and three simulation manikins for use by students in the Physician Assistant Studies Program.

Jan. 5, 2016 - Father Kevin FitzGerald, S.J., Dr. David Lauler Chair of Catholic Health Care Ethics in the Center for Clinical Bioethics, Georgetown University, will deliver the 2016 Saint André Bessette Lecture at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19, in the Burke Auditorium at King’s College. 

Dec. 6, 2015 - The King’s College Mathematics Department recently sponsored a competition involving almost 80 students from eight local high schools.

Dec. 16, 2015 - Four King’s College students recently competed at the Direct Marketing Association of Washington Education Foundation (DMAWEF) Collegiate Maxi Competition in Virginia. The team won third place, winning the bronze award for their Disabled Veterans of America (DAV) campaign.
