Business Office
General Information
The Business office maintains the financial records of all students. The office provides a variety of services including the billing of tuition and fees, taking payments, helping students with financial concerns, and responding to all non-financial aid related questions regarding billing.
Tuition statements are based on information provided to the Business Office from the Registrar, Residence Life, and other departments. Any question regarding a specific charge should be directed to the department corresponding to the charge. For example, an incorrect residence hall or meal plan charge should be directed to Residence Life. In addition, questions related to the financial aid listed on your statement should be directed to the Financial Aid Office.
Tuition statements will be mailed to the address on file for the fall and spring semesters. Summer and winter semester statements can be accessed via the Self-Service portal. Tuition payments are due in full two weeks prior to the beginning of each semester. The tuition due date will be noted on the mailed tuition statements.
When students register for any classes at King’s College or receive any services from King’s College, they are accepting full responsibility to pay all tuition, fees and other associated costs assessed as a result of their registration and/or receipt of services. A student’s registration and acceptance of these terms and conditions constitutes a contractual agreement.
If a student withdraws from some or all of their classes for which they registered, they will be responsible for paying all or a portion of tuition and fees in accordance with the published tuition refund schedule at Withdrawal Policy. Failure to attend class or receive a bill does not absolve students from financial responsibility as described above.
Accounts not paid by the scheduled due date are subject to having a financial hold placed on the student’s account. Financial holds may prevent a student from registering for future classes, possibly obtaining transcripts, having their degree conferred or receiving their diploma.
Students with outstanding balances who fail to make acceptable payment arrangements to bring their account current may be referred to a third-party for collection purposes. Please note that delinquent accounts may be reported to one or more of the national credit bureaus
