Accreditations
King’s College and many of our academic programs are accredited by the most respected agencies, demonstrating the incredible value of our curriculum.
- King's College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
- The William G. McGowan School of Business is accredited by AACSB International-The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business which represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. Institutions that earn accreditation confirm their commitment to quality and continuous improvement through a rigorous and comprehensive peer review. AACSB International accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in management education.
- The Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.

- The certification program for Reading Specialist and the certification program for Program Specialist, English as a Second Language (ESL), are accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
- The Athletic Training Education Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education.

- The Chemistry program is accredited by the American Chemical Society.
- The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) has granted Accreditation - Continued status to King's College Physician Assistant Program sponsored by King's College. (Read more about ARC-PA accreditation here.)
- The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at King's College is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791.
- The strength and conditioning track within the Exercise Science major is accredited through The Council on Accreditation of Strength and Conditioning Education. CASCE is an agency affiliated with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) devoted to advancing the strength and conditioning profession and ensuring standards of quality, a relevant curriculum and effective instruction.

- The King’s MSND program has been granted candidacy status by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND*) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2190, Chicago, IL 60606-6995, (312) 899-0040 ext. 5400. - King’s College entry-level Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program has been granted Candidacy Status by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association located at: c/o Accreditation Department American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) 7501 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite 510E Bethesda, MD 20814 Tel: 301-652-6611 https://acoteonline.org/ The program must have a pre-accreditation review, complete an on-site evaluation, and be granted full Accreditation Status before its graduates are eligible to sit for the national certification examination for the occupational therapist administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). After successful completion of this exam, the individual will be an Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR). In addition, all states require licensure to practice; however, state licenses are usually based on the results of the NBCOT Certification Examination. Note that a felony conviction may affect a graduate’s ability to sit for the NBCOT certification examination or attain state licensure. Under the 2023 ACOTE Standards, OTD students must complete 24 weeks of Level II fieldwork and then undertake an individual 14‑week full-time capstone experience, which may only begin after all coursework and Level II fieldwork, and after having completed preparatory activities (e.g., literature review, needs assessment, goals/objectives, evaluation plan) as defined in Standard D.1.3.
