All students who wish to be considered for any need-based aid, including the Direct Stafford Loan and federal work study must file a FAFSA each year.
File the Renewal FAFSA: if you filed the FAFSA the previous academic year, you will be receiving notice to file your Renewal FAFSA starting in October. You can file your renewal FAFSA online at studentaid.gov after October 1. When completing the current-year FAFSA, remember to list King's College as your school choice and include our federal school code, 003282. Please review your anticipated housing status for the upcoming academic year and update it if necessary. If completing the FAFSA online and you are a dependent student, parent(s) must provide consent to their information being used on the FAFSA. They must also complete their portion of the FAFSA separately, using their FSA ID. The student will invite the parent(s) to complete their portion.
PA State Grant recipients: the FAFSA is also used to determine eligibility for the PA State Grant for Pennsylvania residents. It must be filed by May 1 by renewal applicants. Please don't miss this important filing deadline. Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) may request additional information from you. If requested, please respond promptly.
Your application may be selected for verification by the federal processor. If selected, we are required to verify the accuracy of the data you provided on your FAFSA. You will be required to provide additional information to us. Please respond promptly to all requests for information, as it may impact your eligibility for aid.
Current students' aid eligibility will be evaluated at the end of the Spring semester. Students must be meeting satisfactory academic progress requirements in order to be eligible for financial aid in the upcoming academic year. Offer letters will be available to all students with complete financial aid records beginning in June on the students Self-Service portal.
