Applying for financial aid can be confusing and stressful, but the King's College Office of Financial Aid takes the guesswork out of the application process. We've laid out everything you need to know on the following pages, including important deadlines, application guidance, and suggestions for alternative resources for financial support.
We encourage families to use our Student Financial Aid Checklist and the timetable below to keep on track with next steps.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available online at www.studentaid.govas of October 1. Students and parents must first register for a FSA user ID account(FSA ID). Applicants should file the FAFSA using King's College Federal Institutional Code 003282. You should complete the FAFSA timely to receive an award letter as soon as processing begins.
Once the FAFSA is successfully processed by the Department of Education, the applicant will receive a Student Aid Report, which outlines the information officially submitted and serves as confirmation the application was processed. With this report, King's College will be able to process a financial aid offer, which arrives later.
April
Accepted students will receive notifications to their email and home address listed on their admission application to view their financial aid offer. These award letters are anticipated to be sent out early April. Students should respond promptly to any requests for additional information.
