September 11, 2017 - Mary Ellen O'Connell, Robert and Marion Short Professor of Law and Research Professor of International Dispute Resolution, University of Notre Dame, will explore the concepts of human rights and unlawful use of military force during the Constitution Day Lecture, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21, in the Burke Auditorium at King’s College. This lecture, which doubles as the annual Barbara Sabol Memorial Lecture, is sponsored by the College’s McGowan Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility and History Department, and the Peace and Justice Center of Wilkes-Barre. 

September 11, 2017 - Eight King’s College students have begun a 16-week student teaching experience at area elementary, middle and senior high schools. The supervised teaching experience is necessary to fulfill King’s degree requirements and to obtain a Pennsylvania Teacher Certificate.

September 7, 2017 - Kyle McKiernan, a sophomore marketing and management double major at King’s College, was one of only 80 student applicants from across the country chosen to attend the Marketing EDGE Collegiate Summit held this summer in New York City.

September 1, 2017 - For the eighth consecutive year, King’s has been recognized as among the best master’s degree granting institutions in the country in a national ranking by “Washington Monthly” magazine which recognizes higher learning institutions for service to the community and social mobility of the student body.  King’s placed 250th of almost 650 colleges and universities in the final rankings.
