Commuter Life

Commuter Life

Drive the college experience home

Commuting enables students the opportunity experience King’s without leaving home. We encourage commuters to invest their time and energy on campus; to become involved and engaged; to consider King’s a home away from home.

We do this with a special orientation sessions designed to welcome students and their parents to the King’s community. Student Government designates a commuter liaison who represents student concerns. In addition, the Commuter Life Association meets throughout the semester to discuss commuter issues.

Our facilities make it easy to feel comfortable

We offer a comfortable commuter lounge, lockers and mailboxes for commuter use. In addition, students can take advantage of the King’s Cash system or other meal plan options, accessible through their college ID card.

Pit stops provide valuable on-campus involvement

Commuters can find “Pit Stops” in the Campus Activities suite on the main floor of the Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center. This monthly event offers commuters news on upcoming events and activities.
