November 19, 2018 - Jo Anna Cox of Forty Fort and Madison Dunlow of Wilkes-Barre, both first-year students at King’s College, are recipients of the Father Jozef Murgas Scholarship.

Established and awarded for the first time in 2017, the scholarship is presented annually to a first-year King’s College student or students from an area Catholic, private, or public high school.

Cox plans to major in exercise science and Dunlow plans to major in education.

The scholarships were formally presented at a recent ceremony held in the Father Jozef Murgas Room located at King’s on the Square in downtown Wilkes-Barre.
