Michelle Giovagnoli has been named director of institutional and academic grants at King’s College. She will be responsible for identifying, obtaining, and managing grants from public and private sources, and working with faculty to help educate and assist with grant-related opportunities.
Prior to coming to King’s, Giovagnoli served in various capacities for Lackawanna County for the past 25 years, where she coordinated economic and community development initiatives and housing grant programs and projects for the county and on behalf of local communities and businesses. Her grant management experience includes identifying sources of grant funding, preparing and implementing grant applications, and collaborating with government entities, community and economic development organizations, businesses, and private foundations.
Giovagnoli earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and a paralegal certificate at Pennsylvania State University.
