April 22, 2009 - Students enrolled in the Politics of the United Nations class at King’s College recently participated in a five-day National Model United Nations conference in New York City. The King’s students were among 4,000 college and university students from five continents to attend the conference organized by the National Collegiate Conference Association. King’s students were randomly assigned to represent Iraq for conference activities. The King’s delegation also attended a mission briefing provided by the Iraqi Ambassador to the United Nations.
