Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company is offering a national scholarship for high-achieving African American, Asian/Pacific Islander, and Hispanic students interested in careers in the insurance financial service industry.
This year the program will offer thirty $5,000 college scholarships

The National Federation of the Blind
The National Federation of the Blind (NFB) is a national organization of blind persons that believe in promoting the opportunities of blind students. There are thirty national scholarships awarded annually ranging from $3000 to $12000. The National Federation of the Blind of Pennsylvania (NFB of PA) share in its commitment to aid blind students also award two college scholarships, each in the amount of $1000. Pennsylvania residents are eligible for both the national and the state scholarships and should submit both applications according to the separate directions on each application.

Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund
The Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund® benefits financially needy dependent children, spouses, and domestic partners (1) of 9/11 victims, including airplane crew and passengers, World Trade Center and Pentagon workers and visitors, and relief workers, including firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and law enforcement personnel.
Families of Freedom Scholarships are available for children, including those born after September 11, 2001, who enroll in a program of postsecondary study by age 24. Those children who turn 24 during their course of study must then continue their program of study uninterrupted, with the exception of summer vacations, in order to continue receiving scholarship assistance. Spouses and domestic partners may apply for Families of Freedom scholarships through 2012.
Scholarships may be used to attend an accredited vocational-technical school, trade school, two-year college, four-year college, or university located in the United States. Families of Freedom Scholarship recipients may receive scholarship awards for up to four years, or the equivalent if attendance is part-time, depending on total funding available. Funds are available for undergraduate study only.
