Pittston Native Bill Conlon Returns to NEPA as the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing at King’s College

King’s College today announced that Bill Conlon, senior director of marketing at The Catholic University of America, has been chosen to serve as the new vice president of enrollment management and marketing.

Conlon will lead strategic initiatives across King’s College that impact recruitment, marketing, branding, and financial aid. His hire is the latest in the College’s efforts to build upon its recent enrollment successes, including incoming fall undergraduate and graduate classes that are projected to be more than 8% and 29% higher than last year, respectively.

“Bill has distinguished himself not only through his professional accomplishments, but also his deep appreciation for the mission of Catholic higher education and the transformative impact of a King's education,” said Rev. Thomas P. Looney, C.S.C., Ph.D., president of King’s College. “His leadership is a wonderful addition to an enrollment team that has worked tirelessly over the last year to attract the highest undergraduate and graduate classes we’ve had in six years.”

“As a Northeastern Pennsylvania native and the son of a King’s College alumna, King’s has always been a part of my life,” said Conlon. “The College has a remarkable story to tell, rooted in academic excellence, personal attention, and a mission that transforms lives. I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve an institution with such a rich Catholic tradition and a longstanding commitment to student success.”

“I look forward to working alongside colleagues across King’s to share its story with prospective students and their families while building on the strong momentum already underway,” he added.

A higher education professional with more than 10 years of enrollment experience, Conlon most recently served as the senior director of marketing at The Catholic University of America, where he led branding, digital marketing strategy, and social media initiatives that helped the institution yield two consecutive undergraduate classes of more than 800 students in 2025 and 2026.

Conlon also led high-profile institutional marketing initiatives, including campaigns supporting the University's R1 designation and AACSB accreditation announcements, as well as strategic partnerships and sponsorships that have elevated its national visibility.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and a Master of Science in Business Analysis, both from The Catholic University of America.

Conlon assumes the position from Ian Day, a member of the Registry who has served as the College’s interim vice president of enrollment management and marketing since November 2025.
