King’s College officially dedicated the Molewski Edwards Student Success Center during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 2, 2026, recognizing alumni Mike Molewski ’84 and Diane Molewski and Jimmy Edwards ’98 and Sarah Edwards for their $2 million gift to create a transformative space that brings academic resources together at the heart of campus.

Located on the first floor of the D. Leonard Corgan Library, the Student Success Center was created as part of a more than $4 million renovation project that began in July 2024. The facility brings several of the College’s academic support services together in one modern, welcoming location, providing students with convenient access to mentoring, tutoring, academic advisement, and other resources that support their success at King’s.

The newly named Molewski Edwards Student Success Center houses the Rev. Charles J. Kociolek, C.S.C., Office of Academic Advisement; the Schwingen Tutoring Center; the Feinstein Writing Center; the Lambert Learning Lounge; and KC Pathways, which provides specialized services for first-generation and international students and supports multicultural initiatives year-round.

“The Molewski Edwards Student Success Center represents the profound impact that philanthropy can have on the student experience,” said Rev. Thomas P. Looney, C.S.C., Ph.D., president of King’s College. “The generosity of Mike and Diane Molewski and Jimmy and Sarah Edwards reflects a deep commitment to their alma mater and to generations of King’s students who will benefit from the academic resources, mentorship, and support available within this space. We are grateful for their continued dedication to King’s College and its mission of educating and forming students for lives of purpose and service.”

Molewski graduated from King’s in 1984 with a double major in economics and psychology and later completed graduate work in taxation through the McGowan School of Business. He has served on the King’s College Board of Directors for more than 20 years and has remained deeply involved in philanthropic and community organizations throughout the Lehigh Valley.

A principal and financial advisor with CAPTRUST, Molewski founded MFP Strategies in 2000 before the firm merged with CAPTRUST in 2015. His community involvement has emphasized education and opportunities for young people, including longtime leadership with the Northampton Community College Foundation and support for organizations serving children and young adults.

Edwards, Molewski’s brother, graduated from King’s in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He began his career as an auditor with KPMG before joining MFP Strategies, where he became a partner and chief financial officer. Following the firm’s acquisition by CAPTRUST, Edwards continued as a principal and financial advisor.

Edwards has also maintained strong ties to his alma mater, serving on the King’s College President’s Council from 2020 to 2022 before joining the College’s Board of Directors in October 2022.

“King’s has played an important role in our lives, and we wanted to give back in a way that would have a direct and lasting impact on students,” said Molewski and Edwards. “Every student’s path is different, but having the right support and people in your corner can make all the difference. We hope this center will be a place where students know they can come for guidance, build confidence, and find the resources they need to succeed at King’s and beyond.”

The center was designed to eliminate barriers between students and available resources by bringing offices that had previously been in separate buildings into one centralized location. Renovations included new furniture, expanded open space, floor-to-ceiling windows, upgraded tutoring spaces, employee offices, and conference rooms. Improvements to the library’s second floor added enhanced lighting, individual study areas, and group workstations. The College initially welcomed students into the renovated center in Fall 2025.
