King’s College Launches New Website for Fall 2024 Semester

King’s College today announced the launch of a new website with improved navigation tools, accessibility checks, and digital ambassador features.

The website, which launches in advance of the Fall 2024 semester, has been in development since Dec. 1, 2022, and incorporates extensive feedback from project committee members and campus stakeholder groups.

The upgrade includes multiple enhancements to the user experience, including customization options, mobile functionality, and accessibility features for visitors with visual or other impairments.

The website also features a new virtual chat tool for prospective students and parents to seamlessly connect with student ambassadors for information on academic programs, the campus experience, activities, residence life, course work, and student services. The chat provides a convenient channel for authentic student-to-student engagement that’s available on the site 24/7.

“Although we’re still refreshing some of the older content and wrapping up final technical enhancements with the development team, we’re more than pleased with the progress we’ve made so far,” said Chris Dearth, vice president of enrollment management and marketing. “Personal engagement is a huge part of the King’s College identity and being able to offer that feature to website visitors is a natural extension of that mission.”

The College worked with partners NewCity, which leads research and design, and Hannon Hill, which provides technical support for the content management system on which the new website is built.
