King’s College Commencement

Summer Commencement

Although smaller than our annual Spring Commencement, our summer ceremony celebrates Monarchs who have finished their bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. The event is held at 10 a.m. on campus at the William S. Scandlon Physical Education Center and is livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person.

Watch the livestream here!

Tickets

Tickets are not required for commencement. Graduates need to arrive and line up for the procession at 9:30 a.m. Graduates have reserved seating on the floor and will process into the gymnasium in order of degrees awarded. For questions, please contact the Registrar’s Office at registrar@kings.edu.

Parking

Parking is available for free in the O’Hara, North Street, and Holy Cross parking lots. Review our campus map prior to arrival here.

Photography and Video

King’s College hires Island Photography to take professional portraits of graduates as they receive their degree and as soon as they come off stage. Students will be provided with information about how to review proofs and purchase photos following the ceremony. Please note that only professional photographers and media with appropriate credentials are allowed near the stage to take photographs or video. King’s College will record the livestream for archival purposes.

Who Can Participate

Participating in commencement activities does not automatically mean a student has graduated, as they must officially complete their degree requirements first. For students who have completed their degree requirements, diplomas will be mailed from our diploma vendor to the address provided by each graduate on their Graduation Application.
