Mass of Thanksgiving with Father Bevington

Rev. Ricky Bevington, C.S.C., who has served as assistant director of campus ministry at King’s College since August 2024, was ordained a Catholic priest in the Congregation of Holy Cross on April 26, 2025 in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Ind. 

Father Bevington was ordained by Bishop Kevin Rhoades of the Diocese of Fort Wayne South Bend along with three other Holy Cross priests. He was presented for ordination by students from King’s College, who were among the staff, alumni, and members of the College’s Holy Cross community in attendance.

He will return to Wilkes-Barre following to celebrate his first Masses at King’s College in the Chapel of Christ the King on May 4, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. These masses are open to the public.
