Biography
Linette A. Rayeski, Ph.D., M.B.A., CMA, is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the William G. McGowan School of Business. She teaches undergraduate-level courses that are major requirements of the Accounting, Management – Finance, and Management – Entrepreneurship degree programs, and business foundations requirements for all business major programs.Dr. Rayeski earned her B.S. in Accounting from King’s College, M.B.A. from Columbia University, and Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Scranton. She is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Before entering academia, Dr. Rayeski spent 20 years working across the globe in Fortune 500 companies within the diversified industrial, consumer products, and retail sectors where she expanded her area of responsibility and rose to the level of Vice President. Her functional experience spans corporate finance, strategy, operations and supply chain, internal audit, business intelligence and analytics, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational, process, and technology transformation.
Her research interests include corporate reporting and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosures, stakeholder and investor judgment and decision-making, and finance organization dynamics and competencies. Dr. Rayeski has published in peer-reviewed academic journals and professional journals and presented at academic conferences and professional events. She maintains memberships in academic and professional organizations including the American Accounting Association, Institute of Management Accountants, and IFRS Sustainability Alliance.
