Biography
Linette A. Rayeski, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Accounting at King’s College. She earned her Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Scranton, M.B.A. from Columbia University, and B.S. in Accounting from King’s College. Linette is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) Credential Holder.Dr. Rayeski’s teaching includes undergraduate-level courses that are business foundations or major requirements within Accounting, Finance, and Management–Entrepreneurship for all business degrees. She has published in peer-reviewed academic and professional journals and presented at academic conferences and professional events. Her research interests include corporate reporting and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosures, stakeholder and investor judgment and decision-making, and finance organization dynamics and competencies. She maintains memberships in academic and professional organizations, including the American Accounting Association, Institute of Management Accountants, and IFRS Sustainability Alliance. From a service perspective, she serves within the college as an academic advisor and mentor to students. She also serves on several committees there and within the local community on the American Cancer Society Northeast Pa. Board of Advisors.
Linette was born and raised in Mountain Top, Pa. Before working in academia, she spent 20 years working across the globe in Fortune 500 companies, including Ingersoll-Rand, Revlon, and ANN Inc. in progressively expanding roles up to the level of Vice President. Her functional experience spans corporate finance, strategy, operations and supply chain, internal audit, business intelligence and analytics, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational, process, and technology transformation.
