Ethan Eichhorst, O.T.D.

Biography

Ethan Eichhorst, O.T.D., OTR/L CEAS, comes to King’s College with more than ten years of experience in occupational therapy. Prior to joining the Occupational Therapy program, Dr. Eichhorst was the Facility Director at a multi-disciplinary outpatient clinic for St. Luke’s University Health Network. He specialized in orthopedic, hand therapy, and splinting but also has experience treating neurological and vision conditions, work hardening and return to driving patients, among others. He focuses on a holistic and client centered approach to return patients to their highest level of function. Dr. Eichhorst also has experience in acute/sub-acute rehabilitation and acute hospital occupational therapy. He is passionate about teaching others and plans to bring his leadership, innovation, and coaching experience to the program and his students.

Dr. Eichhorst obtained both his doctoral and master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Misericordia University where he was also an All-American basketball player. He balances his work life with quality time with his wife, son, and daughter. To stay active, Dr. Eichhorst enjoys golfs and continues to play competitive basketball.
