Dara Soljaga, Ph.D. currently serves as the Associate Dean of Education at King’s College. She has over 25 years of experience in higher education, serving as a professor, program leader, founding center director, and department chair. She also taught 8th grade science and served as a reading specialist in the Chicago Public Schools while simultaneously teaching as an adjunct professor. Dr. Soljaga’s scholarly work includes inquiry into asset-based pedagogical practices in teacher training and instructional coaching. She has secured approximately $3 million in grants and external funding to support education in her communities.
