The application for admission is the first step in helping international students explore King's College and our community. It also helps us get to know the many talented students who seek admission here.
We assess the entire person when considering students for admission, including academic achievement and engagement in school and community organizations. Please be sure to complete the following as part of your application:
Send your official high school transcript with official English translation. If you are a transfer student please request your final official college/university transcript. All foreign transcripts must include an official U.S. credential evaluation by a member of NACES. SpanTran is our recommended NACES agency for credential evaluations and has created a custom application for King’s College.
Assessment scores are required for admission consideration under certain circumstances. Decide whether you will submit official ACT, IELTS, SAT, TOEFL, or Duolingo scores and have them sent to admissions@kings.edu.
For candidates majoring in the medical studies program:
Candidates whose native language is not English must pass the online TOEFL exam or have earned a bachelor's degree at a U.S. college or university. The passing score on the TOEFL exam is 108/120.
Candidates must have all coursework that was completed at an institution outside the U.S. evaluated by World Education Services Inc. (WES).

IELTS score of 5.5 (Institution Code: 2353)
Duolingo: Score of 120
SAT: Critical Reading Sub Score of 500
Completion of 110 level at ELS Language Center
All test scores (TOEFL, IELTS, or SAT) must be submitted directly to King’s College from the testing agency and must be less than 2 years old.
Personal statement: In 250 words or less, share with us how you first became interested in King’s College and what you hope to gain through your study here.
Financial documents (bank statements) in English demonstrating adequate financial support for your one full academic year of studies. The bank statements cannot be older than six months from the date of application. If you have been awarded a scholarship from your government or another institution, please include an original document confirming the value of the scholarship and its condition.
Declaration of Finances Certification Formto demonstrate that you have adequate financial support to cover costs of attendance for at least one full academic year (or 9 months) of studies including costs of tuition and housing, books, wellness fee, and other miscellaneous expenses
Materials sent to King’s College will not be returned. For admission purposes, we accept scanned documents of international credentials. When you are admitted, please send your final official transcript and diploma to the Office of International Student Services for verification.
Application Deadlines
International students must submit the required admission documents by these deadlines to ensure enough time to process your application, complete your Visa interview, and travel to the United States. Applications received after deadline will still be considered; however, we reserve the right to defer any application to the following semester.
