Tuition, Fees, and Financial Aid
What is the tuition cost, and are there additional fees?

Do you offer a tuition deferment program?
Yes. Students with employer tuition reimbursement may enroll in King’s tuition deferment program by completing the Tuition Deferment Form. Payment is deferred for three weeks (15 business days) after final grades are posted. The form is available on the Graduate Resources page.
Who do I contact for questions about financial aid?

Registration and Student Accounts
How do I register for courses?
- New students: After you submit your deposit or complete the Graduate Intent to Enroll form (found on your application status page), a member of our team will contact you to assist with registration and next steps.
- Returning students, once the semester schedule is published:
- If set up for automatic registration, you’ll receive an email confirmation when registration is complete.
- If not set up for automatic registration, contact your academic advisor to register. Advisor contact information is in Self-Service.
How do I set up my King’s Account?
After submitting your deposit or Graduate Intent to Enroll form, you’ll receive setup instructions via email provided on your application.
How do I view my billing statement?
Log in to Self-Service, go to Student Finance, select the semester, and click View Statement in the top right corner.
Who do I contact if I have questions about my bill?
If you have questions regarding your charges, contact the Business Office at businessofficestaff@kings.edu.
Technology and Online Learning
Who do I contact if I have issues logging into my King’s email?

Who do I contact if I am having issues with accessing or navigating Moodle?

My course(s) are not appearing in Moodle—what should I do?
Courses are visible in Moodle 48 hours before the start date. Make sure to select the correct term, as most graduate courses run in accelerated terms.
What is the format and structure of the online courses?
- Synchronous – Meets at a scheduled day/time.
- Asynchronous – No set meeting time.

Hardware & Internet Requirements
- Computer with internet access. Hardware and internet connection may be incompatible in cases of employer-provided computers and networks, public computers, and public internet hotspots.
- Internet speed: 1.5 Mbps minimum, (4 Mbps recommended). Speedtest.net allows you to test the speed at your location.
- Webcam or smartphone camera
- Microphone and speakers
- Microsoft Office (free for students via Office 365)
- Access to a scanner or scanning app
Computer Proficiency Requirements
Students should be comfortable with:
- Email, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.) and similar office suites
- Recording/uploading video presentations
- Saving/retrieving files in various formats (.docx, .pdf, .pptx, etc.)
- Installing/updating software
- Uploading files, extracting zip files
- Basic troubleshooting (e.g., clearing web browser cache, cookies, etc.)
- Use a keyboard and mouse effectively
- Editing text documents (changing fonts, inserting links, using spell check, etc.)
- Selecting, copying, and pasting text
- Navigating the internet using a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox)
- Conducting basic internet searches using appropriate keywords
- Finding and copying website addresses (URLs)
Student Support Services
What types of support services are available for graduate students?
Academic support
Graduate students have full access to the Academic Skills Center, offering tutoring, success strategy sessions (time management, study strategies, note-taking, and more), and disability services for students with a documented disability, where accommodations may be applied to their courses. Services are available in person or virtually.
Academic Advising
Advisors assist with course selection, program planning, and registration support. Advisor contact information is available in Self-Service.
Counseling Center
Graduate students enrolled in 9 or more credits in a semester are eligible for on-campus mental health support services. To receive these services, students must also reside in and be physically present in the state of Pennsylvania during the time of service.
Library Assistance
The D. Leonard Corgan Library is your partner in advanced research and lifelong learning. With 24/7 access to thousands of online scholarly articles, e-books, and specialized research guides, you’ll have the tools you need when you need them. Our expert librarians are available in person or virtually for one-on-one help with even the most complex research questions. Along with a large book collection and newly renovated spaces for group and individual study, our friendly staff can usually get you the materials you need—even from other libraries. Honor Societies
Athletic Training: Iota Tau Alpha
Iota Tau Alpha has been established to recognize and honor those individuals in the field of Athletic Training who have been a credit to the profession through scholarship, integrity, and outstanding achievement. Iota Tau Alpha is the only honor society devoted exclusively to recognizing athletic training students. The King’s College Omicron Chapter was founded in 2006 and is the first chapter established in the state of Pennsylvania. The objective of Iota Tau Alpha is to foster a high standard of ethics and professional practices and to create a spirit of loyalty and fellowship, particularly around students in Athletic Training. To be eligible for membership, students must be in the MSAT Program and must have a grade point average of 3.40 in MSAT Program courses.
Healthcare Administration: Upsilon Phi Delta
Founded in 1965, Upsilon Phi Delta is the national honor society for graduate and undergraduate students in healthcare administration programs to recognize, reward, and encourage academic excellence in the study of healthcare management and policy. It is administered by the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) to further the profession of health administration and the professional competence and dedication of its members. The King’s College chapter was formed in 2019. Graduate MHA students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.75 (4.0 scale) and be in their last semester of the Program to be eligible for induction.
Occupational Therapy: Pi Theta Epsilon
Pi Theta Epsilon (PTE) is a specialized honor society for occupational therapy students and alumni. Its mission is to promote research and scholarship among occupational therapy students. PTE recognizes and encourages superior scholarship among students enrolled in accredited educational programs across the United States. The mission of Pi Theta Epsilon is to support the practice of occupational sciences and the practice of authentic occupational therapy by promoting research, leadership, and scholarly activities by its members. In this way, the organization serves not only the profession but also helps to ensure quality healthcare services for the public.
The purpose of Pi Theta Epsilon (PTE), as stated in the society's constitution, are to:
- Recognize and encourage scholastic excellence of occupational therapy students
- Contribute to the advancement of the field of occupational therapy through scholarly activities, such as research development, continuing education, and information exchange between student and alumni members; and
- Provide a vehicle for students enrolled in accredited programs in occupational therapy to sex change information and to collaborate regarding scholarly activities.
Physician Assistant: Pi Alpha
The King’s College PA Program was granted chapter membership in the Pi Alpha Honor Society in 2007. This Honor Society is for Physician Assistants and membership is based on significant scholastic achievement, demonstrated excellence in research, publishing, community/professional service, or leadership activities.
Strategic Communications: Lambda Pi Eta, Psi Epsilon Chapter
Lambda Pi Eta is the honor society of the National Communication Association for four-year institutions of higher education. Lambda Pi Eta represents the first letters of what Aristotle described in Rhetoric as the three modes of persuasion: logos, pathos, and ethos. The official colors of Lambda Pi Eta are crimson to represent the Communication discipline and silver in recognition of speech and oratory skills. The purpose of the honor society is to promote outstanding academic achievement in the Communication discipline. Lambda Pi Eta was initiated by the students of the Department of Communication at the University of Arkansas. The Speech Communication Association established Lambda Pi Eta as an affiliate organization and as the official national communication honor society for undergraduates in 1994. In February 1996, Lambda Pi Eta was inducted into the Association of College Honor Societies. To be eligible for admission to the Psi Epsilon chapter, master’s students must have completed 12 credits in Communication, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5, and be enrolled as a student in good standing at King’s College.
