Program Overview

Our Health and Physical Education PK–12 program prepares future educators to promote lifelong health, fitness, and well-being in students from preschool through grade 12. Through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on teaching experiences, and coursework in [kinesiology, health education, and instructional strategies,] students develop the skills to engage diverse learners and foster positive physical activity habits.

What Can You Do with a Health and Physical Education Degree?

With a degree in Health and Physical Education PK–12, graduates are prepared to become certified teachers, working with students across all grade levels.
