King’s College and Martz Unveil Monarch-Branded Charter Bus

More than 200 students gathered for a surprise arrival in O’Connor Park

A new King’s College-Martz charter bus made its debut by driving into O’Connor Park, where more than 200 students gathered for a surprise unveiling.

The bus will transport King’s student-athletes to competitions and carry passengers on routes including trips to New York City, bringing Monarch pride beyond campus. Inside, it features more than 50 King’s-branded seats, a bathroom, lighting, and screens for watching movies.

“As a member of the King’s College Board of Directors, it’s especially meaningful to see the King’s name and spirit represented on a Martz bus,” said Scott Henry, president of Martz Trailways. “We’re proud to partner with an institution that means so much to me personally and has such deep roots in our community. Whether transporting student-athletes or carrying passengers to destinations like New York City, this bus will take the King’s identity far beyond campus and showcase that Monarch pride wherever the road leads.”

Leo the Lion, King’s cheerleaders, Scott Henry of Martz, and Father Looney arrived aboard the Monarch-branded Martz bus. Father Looney blessed the bus during the celebration. The celebration concluded with free ice cream from an ice cream truck for the King’s community.
