King’s College is proud to introduce its newly established Alumni Council, a strategic advisory group created to deepen engagement among its more than 20,000 graduates and support the mission and values that have defined the College for generations.
Partnering closely with the Office of Alumni Engagement, the Council will provide feedback to the College and help shape key initiatives designed to enrich the alumni experience. The Alumni Council will guide engagement strategies and outreach efforts, ensuring that alumni voices remain central to planning and decision‑making. Members will also serve as ambassadors for the College across professions, communities, and regions, extending the College’s mission through their leadership and service.
A key focus of the Council is fostering meaningful alumni involvement through mentoring, volunteering, philanthropy, and regional programming to strengthen our network and help advance our mission in practical and impactful ways. The group will guide the strengthening and creation of regional chapters and interest‑based affinity groups, expanding opportunities for Monarchs to connect in communities where they live and across shared interests.

“This is an exciting opportunity for our alumni community and the College as a whole,” said Tim Daly ’17, who was elected the first chairperson. “King’s holds a special place in my heart. It’s where I met my amazing wife, Emily Shultis ’19, and where my brother, Ryan Daly ’18, earned his undergraduate degree. It has also provided me with countless relationships and opportunities that I’m grateful for every day. Serving on this council is a meaningful way for me to give back to an institution that has helped shape who I am today.”
Although the Council plays a vital advisory role, it will not hold fiduciary or governance authority. Instead, it will operate as a collaborative partner dedicated to strengthening the lifelong bond between alumni and the College.
“This Council reflects King’s enduring promise to form graduates who lead lives of purpose, deepen connections across generations, and carry the King’s mission into the world,” said Greg Morgan, vice president for institutional advancement. “Nearly every institution in the country has a formal board to support their school and enrich the alumni experience. Bringing together these talented and motivated individuals is the first step to strengthening our alumni engagement efforts here at King’s.”
