King's College Health and Human Performance Conference
This conference features international experts, decorated competitors, and even world record holders who will discuss weight training, recovery, nutrition, and injury prevention. This is a two-day event consisting of a special King's Friday session, followed by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) state-wide event on Saturday.

- Friday, Oct. 4, 2024 at 1:00 PM until 6:30 PM
- Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024 at 7:30 AM until 5:00 PM

Here is a sample of Friday's events:
- Segment on strongman competition training taught by Bobby Thompson, professional strongman and world record holder.
- Recovery management module taught by Jennifer Joyce, an international expert and decorated, multi medal-winning hammer thrower.
- Jordan Downes who graduated the King'sCollege M.S. in Nutrition Science program is returning to share his expertise on hypertrophy.
And that is just the Friday before King's College host NSCA’s state-wide event on Saturday, which features more international experts sharing the latest science on injury prevention, body weight and resistance exercises, dietary supplements, and even yoga in athletic training. The event also includes segments on leadership and communications skills that are essential to working with clients and sports teams.
