Biography
Thomas Mackaman, Ph.D., is John H.A. Whitman Distinguished Service Professor at King’s College where he teaches classes in U.S. history. He is the author of New Immigrants and the Radicalization of American Labor, 1914-1924 (McFarland, 2016), and co-editor of The New York Times’ 1619 Project and the Racialist Falsification of History (Mehring, 2021). Dr. Mackaman has written articles and given public presentations on regional labor history and currently serves as president of the Anthracite Heritage Foundation.
