Lori Aldrich, O.T.D., OTR/L, CHT, has over 35 years of clinical experience specializing in adult upper-extremity orthopedic conditions and neurological disorders, with expertise in hand therapy, where she holds a certification (Certification in Hand Therapy). Before joining King’s College, Lori spent the majority of her career at Allied Services Integrated Health Systems in the outpatient rehabilitation setting. She has held roles as a clinical staff therapist providing direct patient care and also served as a manager in the outpatient occupational therapy department. She has also held the positions of guest lecturer and adjunct faculty in higher education.
Dr. Aldrich is deeply committed to client-centered, occupation-based therapy practice. She is enthusiastic about advancing care through innovative approaches and has a special interest in the use of vagus nerve stimulation in stroke rehabilitation. She has consistently pursued continuing education throughout her career to remain at the forefront of her field. Dr. Aldrich aims to integrate clinical practice skills with classroom learning in the academic setting.
Dr. Aldrich lives locally with her husband and has two daughters. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys reading and traveling.
