Heather K. Kearney, J.D., is an Associate Technical Professor in the McGowan School of Business' Management Department. She has taught a vast range of undergraduate courses, including Business Law I, Business Law II, Labor, Employment, & Sports Law, Business Communications & Mentoring, Globalization, Global Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and Linear Mathematics.
She graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. She received her Juris Doctorate from the Widener Delaware School of Law. Before King's, she gained practical experience working as a corporate attorney and clerking for judges in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
Outside of King's, she maintains a private practice and sustains an active license with the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
