Father Daniel Issing is a vowed religious and priest of the Congregation of Holy Cross. He was ordained in 1990 and has taught theology and ethics at King's College since 2007. He is currently the chair of the Theology Department. Fr. Issing holds a doctorate in ethics and social theory from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley and a licentiate in sacred theology from the Jesuit School of Theology. He received his M.Div. from the University of Notre Dame and his A.B. from Georgetown University. Fr. Issing teaches courses on Catholic moral theology and social ethics. His academic interests are Catholic social teaching, the interplay of contemplation and action, and social reconciliation and forgiveness. Fr. Issing regularly presides at St. Ignatius Parish in Kingston, Pa., and is sought out for preached retreats and spiritual mentoring.
