Selecting a major points you in the direction of your future, but it is our professional preparation that will get you ready for your career. With a small student body, opportunities for hands-on learning abound. As early as freshman year students can participate in research experiments or write for one of our student publications.

Don’t be intimidated by the fact that we offer more than 36 majors: You’ll find plenty of help choosing the major (or majors) that's right for you. King’s career counselors provide the workshops, training and testing to awaken hidden interests and skills in order to discover your calling. And you can delay declaring a major to experiment and test new subjects until you find what’s right for you.

Internships allow you to test out a career in the “real world” while earning credits. King’s students complete full or part-time internships at nearly 100 sites annually, including Disney World, CBS, the White House, PricewaterhouseCoopers and DKNY. These opportunities add actual work experience and skills to your resume, while also providing important networking connections. Alumni mentors are a key component of the King’s career support team with their contacts, opportunities and enthusiasm. Through our academic programs, support and connections, 99 percent of King’s graduates are employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation. That’s proof that King’s will help you develop the skills, build the confidence and give you the experience you need to succeed.
