Welcome to Part One of our Orientation program for newly admitted full-time first-year students, ACADEMIC ORIENTATION!
Academic Orientation is a one day program designed to help first-year students transition smoothly from high school to King’s College. Activities planned for the day include: a team building session with your classmates, an academic session, a technology session and an advisement session. During your advisement session, you will meet one-on-one with an academic advisor to discuss your major (if you have chosen one). In this session you will also explore what is meant by the terms: core requirements, major requirements, and free electives. You will also receive your class schedule and have the opportunity to discuss your registered classes. Lunch will be provided and you will have opportunities to get your Student ID card and meet with a variety of departments during the MANE Fair.
