March 1, 2018 - Father Thomas O’Hara, C.S.C., former president of King’s College and outgoing Provincial Superior of the United States Province of the Congregation of Holy Cross, will provide the address at King’s 69th Annual Commencement exercises to be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at Mohegan Sun Arena.  Father O’Hara will also receive an honorary doctorate from King’s at the ceremony at which approximately 500 students will receive either a bachelor’s or master’s degree.

February 28, 2018 - St. Edward’s University Ballet Folklorico will bring the sights and sounds of Mexico’s traditional folklorico dances and songs to the King’s College campus for a public performance, titled “Noche Folklorica,” at 7 p.m. Friday, March 16, on the third floor of the Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center.

February 26, 2018 - Dr. Elise Heiss, assistant professor of chemistry at King’s College, recently received the Robert Estabrook Moeller Memorial Award to conduct research at Lacawac Sanctuary and Biological Field Station. The a $2,000 grant will support her research, “Nitrogen Cycling in Lake Lacawac: Investigating Environmental Controls on Water Column Nitrification.”
