May 19, 2015 - Fifteen King’s College students were recently inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

The National French Contest, sponsored by the Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF), produced 137 chapter and 47 national winners from a pool of more than 400 elementary through high school student entrants from public and private schools in the Wyoming Valley, Milford, Scranton, Pocono, and South Williamsport areas.

A group of students from King’s College will participate in a three-week study abroad experience to Uganda, East Africa. The program includes stays in Entebbe, Jinja, Fort Portal, Masindi, and Kampala.

King’s College students Heather Danishanko and Madison Gallagher and two of the College’s faculty will participate in a three-week study abroad experience to Canto Grande, Peru. The trip includes excursions to Lima, Paracas, and Machu Picchu. 

April 20, 2015 – David Marchetti, associate clinical professor of the Athletic Training Program at King’s College, has been selected to serve as a sports medicine volunteer with the United States Olympic Committee. 

Marchetti will begin a two-week rotation with the U.S. Olympic Committee’s Sports Medicine Division on April 27 at the Olympic Training Center in in Colorado Springs, Col. He will have the opportunity to work with center’s full-time medical staff and treat Team USA athletes for orthopedic and general health care issues.
