King’s Professor Sunny Weiland Receives ‘Outstanding Young Educator’ Award

Dr. Sunny Weiland, assistant professor of education at King’s College, was recently chosen as the recipient of the 2013 “Outstanding Young Educator Award”  by the Pennsylvania Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (PASCD).

Each year, the PASCD presents the award to an educator who demonstrates “exemplary commitment and exceptional contribution to the profession.”

Weiland was a curriculum specialist and director of Curriculum & Instruction for Northeastern Educational Intermediate Unit 19. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Scranton and master’s degree and doctorate from Marywood University.
