The new sports management concentration allows graduates to apply business skills to the sports and recreation industry and navigate various areas like sports marketing and media; labor and sports law; budgets and complex financial issues; team, event, and project management; and technology.

As the global sports industry rapidly grows, graduates can leverage this unique concentration across different workplace settings like amateur and professional team organizations, marketing and communications companies, or facilities management.

“The growth of sports as a business creates opportunities for King’s students to develop the skills and expertise needed to enter this exciting career as well as develop the business acumen for broader career growth in the future,” said Barry Williams, JD, MT, CPA, Dean of the William G. McGowan School of Business. “At King’s, we are positioned as a leader in business education as shown by our AACSB International accredited business programs of which this concentration will join.”
