October 8, 2018 - Dr. Denise Reboli, professor and chairperson of the education department at King’s College, was recently appointed by Governor Tom Wolf to the Pennsylvania Early Learning Council for a three-year term.

The PA Early Learning Council is responsible for coordinating the delivery of federal and state programs designed to serve young children from birth through entry into school and provides ongoing input and advice to the Office of Child Development and Early Learning.

Reboli, who earned her doctorate from the State University of New York at Binghamton, is also the John H.A. Whitman Distinguished Service Professor at King’s.   She is a member of the Academic Standing Committee and the Moreau Lecture Committee at King’s as well as serving as a first-year advisor.

She is also a member of the King’s College Early Learning Center Advisory Board, the Luzerne County Community College Education Advisory Board, the Transition Advisory Committee of Luzerne County Head Start, and the Success by 6 Committee and the Education Impact Council of the United Way of Wyoming Valley.
