November 5, 2019 - Lauren Pluskey McLain has been appointed associate vice president for Institutional Advancement and senior director of Development and Campaign at King’s College.

Pluskey McLain will be responsible for planning and managing the daily operations of the fundraising and development component of the college’s Institutional Advancement Division, including leading the college’s comprehensive capital campaign.  She is responsible for directing fundraising professionals in the areas of annual giving, major giving, planned giving, and grants.

Before joining King’s, she was managing director of the F. M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts.  She had previously served as the Kirby Center’s director of development and manager of alumni relations and annual giving and director of annual giving for Wilkes University.

The recipient of bachelor’s degree and master’s degrees from Wilkes University and a resident of Plains, Pluskey McLain has also completed a certificate program in non-profit leadership at the University of Scranton.

Pluskey McLain is immediate past president of the NEPA Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.   She is also an active volunteer for the Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce, North Branch Land Trust, and the Luzerne County Historical Society.
