May 15, 2019 - Senior Alison Moyer is the recipient of the King’s College Faculty Scholarship for the 2019-2020 academic year.

The Faculty Scholarship is intended to recognize and reward a student’s academic achievements both inside and outside the classroom.  The scholarship is funded entirely by contributions from the King’s faculty and is awarded annually to a student entering their senior year. An applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the time of applying.

“It is a huge honor to be recognized by the faculty for my hard work and dedication to excellence. I realize that I could not have accomplished this without their guidance and direction in my personal and academic endeavors,” the Mountain Top native said.

Moyer anticipates graduating in May 2020 with majors in economics, Spanish and philosophy. She is Editor-In-Chief of the “Regis” Yearbook, assistant editor-in-chief of the student-run campus newspaper the Crown, president of the Economics and International Business Club, and secretary for the Rotaract and the Environmental Awareness and Outdoors Clubs. She is also an active member in the College’s academic sorority, Sigma Kappa Tau (EKT), the Student Alumni Association, and the “SCOP” literary magazine.
