Marc Marchese, Ph.D., professor of Human Resources Management, was the recipient of the 2020 Rev. Donald J. Grimes, C.S.C. Annual Award for Service-Learning Teaching Excellence. This award recognizes a faculty member who has exhibited distinction in integrating service and learning in courses at King’s in a way that especially aids students’ learning, meets a real community needs, and causes students to reflect critically on the service work they have done. Service-learning projects are designed to promote social awareness and civic responsibility among students, encouraging them to do further work in their own communities.
